We, Jan Dewanckel and Liesbet Lecompte, Belgian artist-designer couple, bought this property in September 2019 and threw ourselves into cleaning up the feral garden and restoring the small house, La maison Carré. Jan stayed there for a year to personally restore it completely to our liking and taste using as many authentic elements and materials as possible. Liesbet took care of the interior design. In July 2022 we started renting it out as a vacation home.
During vacations, we are present ourselves and stay in the other house on the domain, with the plan to live there permanently within a few years. In Belgium, we already have years of experience in receiving guests in the Little House at the Pond. Welcome and feel immediately at home in this little gem...
